He is a strong player but still has room to grow physically in the weight room. He has a lot of intangibles and a good upside as a receiving option. A timely player who shows a lot of technique and some bounce and a solid catch radius. A big stock riser his senior year and one who still has a lot of game. He also reports a 28 ACT score. Erickson currently holds a division one offer from Valparaiso. He reports a 455 deadlift, a 455 squat, a 270 bench, a 315 clean and a 4.67 40-yard dash.

He’s earned first team all state, all conference and all district honors and he brings a strong mindset, solid leadership and the ability to get up and make plays through the air. He has good speed and a high IQ for the position and he understands how to find separation and get out and make plays after the catch. An underrated prospect in the recruiting world who is proven to be effective year after year. He currently holds offers from Mid-America Nazarene and Western New Mexico University.

He’s a physical player and he shows a lot of toughness and physicality. He’s good at avoiding contact when he can but he’s also comfortable putting his head down and making contact as he looks to gain whatever yards the defense will give him. He finished his season with 71 catches for 1,065 yards and seven touchdowns. A player with good balance as well, showing off his ability to tiptoe down the sideline and even score.

A versatile athlete who shows the ability to make plays on both sides of the ball. He has seen action as a LB and special teams man and he also looks good with the ball in his hands. Taylor has a good frame and size and shows up when you need a play. He’s a coachable player and he has the ability to make catches and move the chains. He passes the eye test in person and has good leverage and upper body strength. He’s a capable blocker, and can do well in this area, but he is comfortable as a receiving option. A solid player who gets off the line quickly and can use his frame to seal off defenders.
