Class of 2023 QBs that are big time names to know and elite arms of talent – We take a look at big time canons for arms, Havens of Owasso in Oklahoma is a big time impressive QB that can make all the tough throws and many others are right there with his like ‘23 Rejoice Christian play maker Wilson, a player that has a great all-around game and put up some of the top sophomore season numbers in Oklahoma for 2020.
Jackson Deringer, 6-2, 170, QB,2023, Baxter Springs @DeringerJackson
Showed out for sure at the KC camp earlier this year and is just getting better and better with every time he gets on the field, no doubt Deringer is going to be one of those very good players. No doubt a hot class of ’23 QB on the rise with some unlimited impressive potential ready for a monster junior season in 2021, the 6-2 frame is a good one also with some height that is good as well. Is a player that has good poise in the pocket and plays like a veteran, Deringer can either pass or run the football and is a player that has the skills to be one of the best in Kansas. A player that has a good ability to take command of a game and make it his.
Maxwell Ford, 6-3,210, QB, Aquinas @MaxxwellFord
No doubt a huge prospect, could be the tops in Kansas with his arm and skill, love this guys work ethic and ability to stand in and make the big throws under pressure, a separator prospect that has size and a gun, love his potential to be the top QB in the class of ‘23. Ford is a major 2023 talent and a guy that’s going to be a great one for Aquinas. Strong arm and a great knack for making big time plays really sets him apart from most QBs. Will take over as the main man in 2021 with huge expectations ahead. Ford is one of those great sized QBs at 6-3, 210 is among the biggest and the best and that’s why he comes in ranked second best QB prospect in the Kansas class of 2023 and 11th best overall prospect in the super sophomore class. A junior to be in 2021, Ford will take over as the main starter as a junior in 2021 and we think has the top potential to make an even bigger name for himself in 2021 being the main man and getting his big shot to be the starter. We expect a huge season ahead for Ford and his major arm and impressive moxy and poise in the pocket.
Austin Havens, 6-4, 195, QB, 2023, Owasso @austinhavens12
Tulsa no doubt we think is the hot bed for many of the state’s top class of ’23 QB prospects and without a doubt Owasso’s major talent Austin Havens fits that mold for must see big time play makers for the Rams potent offense, showing that age does not matter with a big 2020 season the powerhouse Rams program. Havens posted some big numbers no doubt with 2,052 passing yards ,25 passing touchdowns, 164 rushing yards, and five rushing touchdowns as a sophomore. Add in the fact that Havens is 6-4 inches tall and has had all of this success in Class 6A football and you can see what the hype is the real deal with Havens and his game.
Adonis Huthinson, 6-0, 170, QB, 2023, Lincoln @adonisjh2
When you look at what all Hutchinson can do with a football in his hands, he certainly has the potential to be among the top class of ‘23 QB prospects in the state of Nebraska, no doubt one of those QBs that can really rare back and throw the football, a guy that loves to show off his strong arm downfield and give his WRs great chances to get under the ball and make the big time huge plays down the field. No doubt a QB looking to throw first, but a very impressive looking athlete as well. Hutchinson will have big time goals again in 2021 as a junior to be a top throwing QB and be a guy that should give Lincoln a good chance to win a lot of games in 2021.
Carson Laverty, 5-11, 160, QB, 2023, Putnam City North @D1Lav6
Laverty connected on 149 of 220 of his passing attempts as a super sophomore on the 2020 season and passed for a very impressive 1,426 yards through the air with 12 touchdowns and a big time only two interceptions on the year proving the Laverty is that QB in the OKC that just does not make mistakes and is also one of the top high IQ play makers, a guy that makes some of the best choices among OKCs finest prospects and a player that also may have the biggest upside for potential and play making skills. No doubt we think the next two years could be huge for this big timer from Putnam City North. Has the skills to be an impressive next level QB no doubt about it.
Peyton Wheat, 5-10, 192, QB, 2023, Lawrence Free State @impeytonwheat
One of the most promising prospects among Kansas QBs in the class of 23, Wheat is the one you talk about when you start mentioning the future and what players have the potential to become and we like his arm and play making skills under center, could develop into a special QB and has some of the tools you like to see and a nice arm as well. Wheat could end up being a name you hear a lot from.
Dylan White, 6-0, 170, QB, 2023, Verdigris @d_white262
Dylan White is a player in the 2023 QB class that has been very impressive and a player that we think will be one of the top looking QBs again in 2020 in the sophomore class. White had a big time freshman season and finished the year with 1,692 passing yards and 17 passing TDs. One of those guys that has one of the strongest arms in the class and a crafty and witty QB that has nice poise and pocket presence.
