Cunnell Burrage | 5’9,155 | WR | 2025 | Davenport North (IA) | @cxnells
Had a good looking camp, Burrage turned in a 4.89 laser timed 40 yard dash and a broad jump mark of 113 to impress at the Midwest Showcase. Burrage punched his ticket to the FINALS at the Midwest Showcase and could have been the top speed plus talent prospect we saw there from the state of Iowa. A real game changer and one of the most athletic build players there also, you can see why there are very high expectations from the senior to be in 2024 at Davenport North High School. Burrage raked up 21 receptions for 336 yards and averaged 16.0 yards per catch on offense and had 19 total tackles, 1 INT, 1 FF , 4 PAT Blocks, 1 Punt Block and racked up 800 Total yards of offense while being one of the top 5A class return men in the state of Iowa.
Joseph DeGraffenreid | 6’2, 185 | WR | 2025 | Webb City (MO) | @Joseph_D_0734
DeGraffenreid turned in a 117 mark in the broad jump as one of the most impressive looking marks at the Midwest Showcase. One of the most athletic looking players out of Southwest Missouri at the Midwest Showcase was this Webb City stock riser with a very athletic frame, a 6-2, 185 impressive looking athlete for the Cardinals and a WR that has the length to pose some big matchup problems down the field, and in space could be one of the seniors that will be a go to target in 2024 for the traditional powerhouse program. Earned Second Team All-District honors and Third Team All-Conference honors this past season.
Andrew Genova | 6’0, 155 | WR | 2025 | Staley (MO) | @AndrewGenova_2
The speedster had the seventh fastest 40 yard dash time at the Midwest Showcase, a 4.59 laser timed 40 yard dash to show off some of the top speed there. One of the elite talents from the Midwest Showcase was Andrew Genova, a player that showed off the elite looking speed you like to see from a next level prospect, and the Staley standout is one of the guys that punched his ticket to the FINALS and is one of those guys in Kansas City that is a pure burner as a wideout, hard to match up with his speed and impressive route running down the field. Genova earned First Team All-Conference honors and is one of the top looking WR prospects coming back in the KC metro to pay big attention to in 2024.
Kasey Giesenhagen | 6’3, 195 | WR | 2025 | Colby (KS) | @KGiesenhagen
Giesenhagen turned in a 118 mark in the broad jump, good enough for the sixth best overall mark in that combine section and was one of the top looking performers in attendance. A very impressive looking athlete and one of the top pure hands guys from the Midwest Showcase was this Colby High School WR and 6-3, 195 longer and impressive looking bigger target down the field. Giesenhagen is a play maker that has a long stride is proves to be a very tough matchup for DBs to hang with as he can get up and grab some of those tough catches and use his height to shield off the DB and make a big play happen. Kasey posted a solid junior season of 470 receiving yard coming on 18 receptions and finished with 571 all purpose yards.
Barrett Giger | 6’0, 150 | WR | 2025 | Summit Christian (MO) | @giger0815
One of the more impressive looking WRs on the radar in the Missouri class of 2025 that is a stock riser that caught our eye from the Midwest Showcase was 6-0, 150 Barrett Giger from Summit Christian. A player looking to have a very big senior season in 2024, Giger earned Second Team All-Conference honors this past season and had 28 receptions for 468 yards and averaged 16.7 yards per catch with five receiving touchdowns and 210 kick return yards on a solid junior campaign in 2023.
Victorino Gunion | 6’0, 160 | WR | 2025 | Shawnee Mission West (KS) | @VictorinoGunion
A play maker that has some very good speed down the field, one of the most impressive looking deep ball threat and pitch and catch targets we have seen on a Kansas football field, this Shawnee Mission West junior showed that he had some great concentration and was one of those guys that really has some extra gears of speed down the field that make him a very hard to handle one one one play maker at WR and one of the guys we think has the biggest future as a senior prospect on the rise to watch for.
Jayden Lang | 6’0, 185 | WR | 2025 | DeSoto (KS) | @13_jaydenlang
Lang is a very impressive looking athlete and one of the top pure athletes we saw at the Midwest Showcase. The WR punched his ticket to the FINALS and was one of the most athletic and rangy offensive athletes in attendance. We like his talents to be a senior that will go over 1000 yards receiving in 2024 and could be a 10+ TD kind of target with his speed and open field separation on his routes, Lang is among the most dangerous open field WRs to know in Kansas football right now.
Jeremiah Looney | 6’0, 165 | WR | 2025 | Shawnee Mission North (KS) | @jeremiahh9
Looney had a 4.63 laser timed 40 yard dash at the Midwest Showcase, good for ninth best overall time in a huge field of impressive athletes. We really like the speed and the athletic skills from the Shawnee Mission North rising WR prospect, a guy that did show some of the more impressive looking speed and footwork from the Midwest Showcase and a player that is one of the top stock rising names to know in the state of Kansas, Looney has the speed to be a good one and is an athlete that can pose some matchup problems too. A very versatile athlete also that can play cornerback or quarterback as well in the lineup.
Tom Scherr | 6’2, 190 | WR | 2025 | Wahlert Catholic (IA) | @scherr_tom
Scheer had the second best broad jump mark among a huge field of attendees at the Midwest Showcase with a mark of 122 to impress as one of the top standouts in attendance. Have to really like this All-State Iowa football athlete and a WR that should be one of the top prospects among hot WRs in the state of Iowa in 2024. Scheer punched his ticket to the FINALS and was one of the most aggressive route runners showing off some good hands and at 6-2, 190 is one of the WRs that is hard to contain in the open field and can get to the right spots on the field to create problems and make those big offensive plays you like to see at WR. Scheer had 391 receiving yards on offense and added 39 tackles on defense. Posted 12TDs also on a big year for the junior talent from Wahlert Catholic.
Mason Schlittenhard | 6’0, 168 | WR | 2025 | Olathe NW (KS) | @masonschlitty
Mason had some solid numbers from the Midwest Showcase with a broad jump mark of 112 and a 4.88 laser timed 40 yard dash as well. One of the most athletic looking Kansas players in attendance from the Midwest Showcase was this talented looking play making WR from Olathe Northwest High School, Mason Schlittenhard. Schlittenhard is a player that is a two way talent and can be equally impactful on either side of the pigskin, be it at WR or DB where his speed is tough to handle for opponents and can be a game changer for his team. Mason has a 6’4 inch wing span also and had 26 receptions for 491 yards and had four touchdowns while on defense posting 84 tackles, four tackles for losses and a pair of INTs on a monster season for the defense at Olathe Northwest.
