Power Ball: 33 Broad Jump: 8’1, Shuttle: 4.62, 40-Yard Dash: 5.20
Taking a look at 2021 defensive end Brandon Granger of Seckman, a prospect that can really bring it and be a good one off the edge and a player that has raised his stock this 2020 season. He was among his team’s leaders in sacks with four and added 24 tackles. He has a strong, physical base, good size as he measured 6’1, 215-pounds without shoes and the Seckman product showed some nice explosive power at the 6Star Football Combine with a 33 mark in the power ball. Also turned in a distance of 8’1 in the broad jump.
Michael Harris, 6’0, 249, DE, 2021, SM Northwest (Kan.) @MichaelHarris0_
Power Ball: 41, Broad Jump: 8’6, Shuttle: 4.20, 40-Yard Dash: 4.99
Shawnee Mission Northwest standout Defensive End Michael Harris showed why he has racked up a load of college offers already and is grabbing more and more. Harris was in the top five in three of his four events at the 6Star Football Combine in St. Louis. He was best among all Defensive End’s at the event in both the powerball toss (41) and in the shuttle (4.20). No doubt his combination of great footwork and pure power were on full display and you have to admire a total package player also, a guy that tips the scales around 250 pounds and still moves as good as any defensive end out there. Had a very good broad jump as well at 8’6 at the 6Star Football Combine. The standout senior finished the 2020 season with a very impressive 47 tackles, 5 sacks, 11 TFL, 1 FF in 8 games. Holds 11 offers so far with many more likely to come his way. Big timer for sure.
Mark Anthony Jones, 6’2, 284, DL, 2021, Marquette @5maj3
Power Ball: 41, Broad Jump: 8’0, Shuttle: 5.06, 40-Yard Dash: 5.53
Big on talent and a player that really is one of the best of the best on pure athleticism at the recent 6Star Football Combine in St. Louis, Jones has impressed and is a player that should be impressive for colleges to be looking at. Jones posted the top power ball toss among all defensive lineman at the 6Star Football Combine with a very impressive distance of 41. Jones also was a major impressive performer in the broad jump (8’0), which he tied for third best among DL attending, and tied for fifth in the shuttle with a very impressive 5.06 mark. No doubt when you look at a guy that is 6’4, 284 pounds that can come to a combine and be among the best for speed and footwork, you really have a special talent to take some major notice of for the next level. Jones had another big time season in 2020 and was named a 1st team All Conference defensive Lineman.
Cole Matthews, 6’2, 203, DE, 2021, Fort Zumwalt West @ColeMat76248518
Power Ball: 36, Broad Jump: 8’2, Shuttle: 4.66, 40-Yard Dash: 4.91
Matthews is a player that is very powerful at 6-2, 203 pounds, a player that can make some big time things happen as well. Cole is one of those guys that also really shined at the 6Star Football Combine in St.Louis, he tied for the second fastest time in the 40 yard dash (4.91), no doubt a speed rusher off the outside edge that can really motor and reak some defensive havoc for the Fort Zumwalt West club. Matthews finished off a very good senior season with 49 total tackles, nine tackles for losses and racked up two sacks.
Daniel O’Keefe, 6’0, 213, DE, 2021, SLUH @danokeefe87
Power Ball: 37, Broad Jump: 8’3, Shuttle: 5.03, 40-Yard Dash; 5.32
SLUH’s Daniel O’Keefe is a good one and one of the seniors that was among top names this season for play making Defensive ends to know. The 6’0, 213 pounder has been a key defensive impact maker and a player that can make the big plays in the big games. O’Keefe was a top 10 player in the powerball with an impressive toss of 37, had a very respectable broad jump of 8’3 and was a guy that was impressive and a player colleges should check out for their teams.
Akada Selmon, 6’2, 288, DE, 2021, McCluer @AkandaSelmon
Power Ball: 31.5, Broad Jump: 8’3, Shuttle: 4.84, 40-Yard Dash: 5.25
Selmon is one of the seniors that we think has risen his stock this 2020 season and has a nice big frame at 6-2, 288 pounds off the outside edge, some speed, and power that can be impressive. Selmon is a bigger defensive end that can bring it and be a major pressure guy off the outside edge for McCluer. Turned in a power ball toss of 31.5 and a fine looking broad jump of 8’3.
Caden Vinduska, 6’2, 198, DE, 2021, Rock Creek (Kan.) @CadenVinduska
Power Ball: 38, Broad Jump: 8’8, Shuttle: 4.90, 40-Yard Dash: 4.96
Vinduska is a big time DE recruit and a play with a good looking frame 6-2, 198, and a player with a major motor and we think is one of the better senior prospects for defensive ends in the state of Kansas. Vinduska tied for fourth best power ball mark at the 6Star Football Combine with a very impressive mark of 38. Was also fourth overall among Defensive Ends in the 40 yard dash with a big time mark of 4.96. No doubt Vinduska has size, power and speed, a player that is an excellent next level prospect. Vinduska finished off his senior season with an impressive 88 tackles, 10 tackles for losses, two safeties, and three sacks in just eight games.
Mark Waller, 6’4, 203, DE, 2021, Olathe North (Kan.) @MarkWaller81
Power Ball: 31, Broad Jump: 8’10, Shuttle: 4.44, 40-Yard Dash: 5.28
Waller is a good one from the loaded defensive unit at Olathe North and is a player that has been a nice rush end in the 2021 class. Waller is a long and lean 6-4, 203 pounds and is impressive with his long and athletic frame. Waller was impressive with the third best shuttle mark at the 6Star Football Combine (4.44) and tied for third in the broad jump with a distance of 8.10. A very impressive well rounded athlete that has a big motor and should be a college fit that can be an impact maker.
Xavier Ware, 5’10, 190, DE, 2021, Marquette Catholic (Ill.) @XavierWare9
Power Ball: 29, Broad Jump: 7’5, Shuttle: 4.84, 40-Yard Dash: 5.27
One of the big motor guys off the edge that can be a pass rushing threat and a key run stopper for Marquette Catholic (Ill.), Ware has the skills and talent to land some college offers and looks and is a guy that has a nice motor and plays very aggressive off the outside edge. Turned in a 4.84 in the shuttle at the 6Star Football Combine St. Louis. Holds offers from Clarke and St. Ambrose.
Tyson Wimbley, 5’10, 233, DE, 2021, Bentonville (Ark.) @tyson_wimbley
Power Ball: 34.5, Broad Jump: 8’11, Shuttle: 4.62, 40-Yard Dash: 4.91
One of the more impressive looking players to watch out for and the lone impressive Arkansas attendee, Wimbley is a big time looking play maker and a player that you like for his 233 pounds of bulk and power off the outside edge for Bentonville. Wimbley tied for the second best 40 yard dash time among all Defensive ends at the 6Star Football Combine with a time of 4.91. Wimbley is a player that also was second among all Defensive ends in the broad jump with a mark of 8’11. No doubt a play maker to grab some major college attention, Wimbley is a very fine play maker and athlete. The big time athlete and play maker also earned class 7A West All-State and All Conference honors. Wimbley earned seven conference honors and finished the 2020 season with an impressive 65 tackles, three sacks, three tackles for losses, and recovered one fumble.
