WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Six Star Football held its Camp & Combine showcase event on Sunday at Heartland Park outside of St. Louis, drawing several talented prospects from across the region.
Here, we look at several of the day’s most talented senior offensive linemen prospects.
Joshua Clark, 5’11.25, 274, OL, 2021, Olathe West (Kan) @joshuaclark73
Power Ball: 34, Broad Jump: 7’7, Shuttle: 5.06, 40-Yard Dash: 5.96
Had a very good combine showing at the 6Star Football Combine, his 34 distance in the power ball tied him for fifth best among all offensive lineman attending. It’s hard not to see just how good Clark can be and he came off a great offseason never looked back and is a player that we think really has moved him up into an elite group of big men in the KC area that are rising their college stocks and Clark is one of the most worthy of next level attention out there. Hard works pays off and Clark is a great example of that tough mentality and a player that is becoming one of the tops in the state. Shows good numbers in the weight room of 315 bench, 450 squat and a 275 clean. Holds offers from Benedictine, Highland CC, Dodge City CC, Dordt, Clarke, William Penn, Midland, Avila, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Mid-America Nazarene. Considered a very highly touted and a hot senior recruit to get a hold of, impressive OL.
Tyler Duerbeck, 6’6, 290, OL, 2021, Ritenour @Ty_upnextt
Power Ball: 28.5, Broad Jump: 6’3, Shuttle: 5.38, 40-Yard Dash: 5.82
A player that has one of the biggest overall frames that attended the 6Star Football Combine in St. Louis, Duerbeck is a mountain of a man that stands 6-6 inches tall and weighs 290 pounds. Duerbeck no doubt has that next level size going for him. The Ritenour lineman is a big man that can also be a key impact maker on both sides of the football making him an even more valuable asset to the Ritenour club. A very tough blocker that can also be very versatile and has lined up at both TE/DE as well as OL. No doubt a player that has next level potential and size.
Michael Fanz, 5’11, 304, OL, 2021, Rockwood Summit @michael_fanz
Power Ball: 31, Broad Jump 7’2, Shuttle: 5.31, 40-Yard Dash: 5.83
A player that weights 304 pounds and can be a dominator and use his leverage well and has been a player that can be a force in the trenches for Rockwood Summit. Fanz, a player that can be a factor on both sides of the ball, either as a rush end that can put some major pressure on the quarterback or a dominant blocker that really uses his size and leverage well to overpower smaller guys. A guy that is a very hard matchup and with his 304 pound build he proves very tough to gain any ground and movement against as a defensive lineman. Impressive senior big man to know.
Eli Hale, 6’3, 350, OL, 2021, St Joe Benton @elihale2021
Hale is a big man at 6-3, 350 pounds is a player that has the size to be a next level offensive lineman for the right team and is a player that can use that size to his advantage. The St. Joseph Benton big man is a player that has some huge lower body power that has been very impressive with a 600 pound squat. No doubt has been a major hard worker and trainer in the weight room andis a big man that improved his footwork and is a good pass protection and run blocker on the must see list. No doubt can be a player you don’t want to have to go head to head against with his size and pure power.
Owen Heslin, 6’1, 222, OL, 2021, Francis Howell @heslin_owen
Power Ball: 29, Broad Jump: 7’7, Shuttle: 4.87, 40-Yard Dash: 5.52
A player that did have a very nice showing among all OL at the 6Star Football Combine in the shuttle with a time of 4.87, good enough for fifth best time among all the big and impressive lineman at the St. Louis combine. Heslin is a player that no doubt can move well and use his 6-1, 222 pound frame very well. A consistent lineman for Francis Howell who has good strength and overall toughness. Helsin is good at moving his feet and can stay in front of opponents looking to use their quickness and power against him. A 6’1, 222-pound left tackle who looks to take opponents off their feet quickly after the snap. He uses every bit of force and energy he has and locks arms and shows good strength in the trenches. Heslin is a motivated prospect, who is still looking to make big plays wherever he can. He currently holds an offer from Roosevelt University.
