Kedrick Debron, Jr., 6-0, 200, RB, 2022, Gadsden County @havanathorough1
A back that has some good size and power at 6-0, 200, the Gadsden County junior gem is quite an exciting back to know and watch out for. Is a very athletic running back that can get to the outside running lanes and make some big time runs, very good vision off the snap to see the holes and make a big gain with speed and quickness through the holes, and is considered one of the smoothest runners to watch in the state. Check out the Gadsden Gem.
Chase Gillespie, 5-10, 180, RB, 2022, Godby @guwop_chase
An he is gone, Gillespie is that guy is he can beat the first tackler to the hole then he can be gone for a big run time and time again with a for more gears of speed than any other back you will see out there, no doubt a guy that runs like a track star with a football helmet on when he plays and is super fast. In a limited six game season that elite Gillespie was still able to rack up 1,000 All Purpose Yards and 14 touchdowns in the regular season for Godby. Holds offers from Maryland, Troy, Texas Tech, South Florida, FAU, K-State, KU, South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, and South Alabama.
Jordan Gilley, 6-2, 220, RB/ATH, 2022, Florida High @JordanGilley2
The First Team All-Big Bend honoree holds an offer from D1 Buffalo, the first of many we see coming this big stars way in the near future. One of the bigger backs in the state at 6-2, 220, also ranked a top 10 MLB by many rankings for his tough tackling and tough play in the heart of the Florida High defensive unit, Gilley is a runner that can rack up the tackles with 138 tackles and four forced turnovers on the season. Brings that same tenacity when he carries the football for the offense at Florida High.
Isaiah Gordon, 6-1, 210, RB, 2022, Mainland @isaiahkgordon
The Mainland Machine out of the backfield, this 6-1, 210 big back is a game changer, also an Outside backer, Knighton can make it happen and is a very well put together and impressive looking strong muscle type back. Holds an offer from UCF and interest from many big time D1s like Maryland, Utah, Marshall, Western Kentucky, Kentucky, and Illinois among the many that know his game is legit and quite dangerous as a runner out of the backfield.
Jakiryn Hawkins, 5-10, 190, RB, 2022, Trinity Christian Academy @Jakirynhawkins
Although right now Hawkins is looking more like a big time linebacker prospect in the class of 22, coming up with a big time 57 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, one passing touchdown, one rushing touchdown, two receptions for 17 yards, 253 rushing yards on 63 carries. No doubt he is a athlete first and then that translates in a huge way onto the football field. Likely a very underrated talent out of the backfield that has some huge skills and abilities to gobble up some big yards. Watch out, maybe at Backer, but this guys is a flat out baller.
Jayden Jefferson, 6-1, 201, RB, 2023, John Paul II Catholic @JaydenJeffers1n

Jefferson is one of those backs that can blaze down the field with a time of 4.4 in the 40 yard dash, Jefferson is a lights out speed runner making him one of the most exciting backs in the Sunshine State to get a good look at in the class of 2022. Not just a great runner but also a superb athlete that holds a 35 inch vertical as well. Jefferson is a fun runner to watch, prime time athlete and has a very solid 6-1, 201 pound frame.
Jayden Martin, 5-8, 170, RB, 2022, Spruce Creek @JayMart01
A for sure Mr. Excitement type of runner from Spruce Creek High School, Martin is one of those running backs that can really motor down the field, another back that just needs the smallest of windows to get through then you’re looking at either a touchdown or a gain of around 30 plus yards with his speed. No doubt some of the fastest feet that you will find and a player that has vision and speed that make him one the most feared backs to have to face in the state.
AJ Megas, 5-10, 175, RB, 2022, Bartram Trail @AjMegas
Megas is a dandy for sure and one of those guys that always has great vison and sees the field in front of him as good as any back out there. Megas is a play maker that racked up 14 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2019 showing just how good he could really be. Also a multi faceted running back that can catch out of the backfield and then turns the jets on to give the Bartram Trail offense another weapon from the slot to be a pass catcher and dangerous ground gainer.
Johntarrious Thomas, 5-6, 165, RB, 2022, Gadsden County @JT_1122
One of the hottest running backs in the state of Florida, Gadsden County’s Johntarrious Thomas is a legit see it and get it back that sets his sights on his goals and flat out gets it done on the ground. Thomas is a back that is the exciting back fans pay to see play, a runner that can use huge athletic skills and has recorded combine numbers of 4.53 in the 40 (laser), a 10.5 Broad Jump, a 4.41 in the shuttle. The 3 Star Rivals back in in for a huge 2021 season and one that should be a big timer major year to remember. Proves size does not matter when you have big time time speed and athletic abilities.
