Reed McCann, 6’1, 165, WR, 2023, St. Pius X @ReedMcCann23
Has good size and athleticism at a receiving position but is also capable of making plays defensively as well. He roams the field and can be counted on to make plays and get targets. A player to keep your eyes on who has good hands and shows toughness and a good off-season work ethic which will help him as he moves forward.
Tyler Mitchell, 6-3, 158, WR, 2023, Verdigris @TylerM1121
Mitchell is a player that can do some impressive things, love this 6-3 inch frame as a guy that can go up and make some big time plays. Mitchell no doubt has a lot of skills, good hands, size, and a player that can also block very well, a very good route runner that has good speed and can get open with the best of them. No doubt a player that is a very good 10-12 yard route runner. Mitchell is one of the hot Sooner 7 play makers that also can make huge plays on a regular basis, no doubt a hot ‘23 pass catcher.
Peyton Osborn, 6’0, 175, WR, 2023, Blue Springs South @peytonosbor
A nice athlete for Blue Springs South who can use his size and speed on the edge. He has seen action and got some targets outside the numbers but he can also make plays on crossing patterns through contact. He has also been able to make plays defensively and he sees the field well and has good footwork and toughness as well.
Aiden Smith, 5’7, 160, WR, 2023, Blue Springs @Aiden19293878
Smith is a solid player who has a good combination of speed and versatility as a player. He can see time on both sides of the ball, as a receiver and a CB. Smith shows the ability to stay with receivers and can get back and then cover ground. He runs smart routes inside the numbers and can start and stop and make plays in the air. A player who has good hands and a solid IQ and he has been pushing himself in the weight and training room this offseason.
Tre Richardson, 5-9, 165, RB, WR/FS, 2023, Highland Park @Trerich20
Richardson could be the most impactful offensive weapon in the Centennial League, only a class of 2023 prospect as well, we already put him on the list for next level colleges to really start looking at over the next two seasons as a player that has the speed and versatility to be a major impact maker and one of those game changing type athletes that can flat out make it happen. Also a speedy guy with some of the best in the league around a 4.53 guy in the 40 yard dash as well.
Jeffrey Strozier, 5’6, 165, WR, 2023, Center @JeffreyStrozier
Strozier is a talented player who shows good speed in the ability to break away from opponents and get the extra yards. He can line out wide and make plays through the air and also turn and come back to the ball and make catches and then create on his own. He looks to use blockers when he makes catches out of the backfield and shows the ability to elude tackles and march down the field.
Nathan Vollbracht, 5-9, 185, WR, 2023, Wheatland @nathanv1216
Wheatland has some good offensive weapons back and one of those will be a junior in 2021 in Nathan Vollbracht, as this talented 5-9, 185 impact maker that will look to be one of their go to weapons on offense and special teams to keep an eye on. Vollbracht is a player that has a big upside and can use toughness and speed to be a good pass catch and open field threat for Wheatland.
Dante Washington, 6’0, 172, WR, 2023, Webb City @Dwash2023
A player who is capable of seeing time on both sides of the ball, Washington adds good size and mobility to Joplin’s roster. He has straight line speed and is capable of making catches in the back field and then exploding forward and even finding his way to the end zone. He has a good eye and can make catches and looks to avoid contact where he can but is also fine with playing through contact as well. He is aggressive and has confidence in his game and his ability as an athlete and receiver.
Eli Youman, 6’5, 228, WR/TE 2023, Blue Springs @EliYouman
A player to keep your eyes on who shows the ability to use his frame and length to his advantage. He has good hands and good speed for his position and shows up as a receiving option down the middle of the field. He can make plays over his head and he can handle contact and shows strong instincts as a receiving option. Given his frame and strength he is also a capable blocker who shows good awareness and can absorb contact well and stay on his feet.
