One of the quarterbacks that impressed and was a top arm that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase in St. Joseph was Cheney sophomore slinger Josh Burdick. A top looking QB this past season, the sophomore talent had 2226 passing yards and went 188 for 296 for a 63.5 completion % and had 23 TD’s. Cheney’s Josh Burdick will be looking for a good sophomore season this year and is a player that has made the most of his time this year, Burdick, 6-0, 175, is a QB prospect that has a very strong arm, also a good baseball player at Cheney, Burdick has the power arm to be a big name to know in the coming years and will be a guy we have on the Kansas ’25 class sophomore radar as a young QB arm to watch out for.

A QB that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Showcase and had some of the better throws there as well, a rising talent to know from Olathe East that impressed. One of the throwers that we like coming up in the sophomore class, Cornell will be a player that is a name to know in the KC metro area and a strong armed sophomore that will be a player East will be looking more and more to as an offensive impact maker. A young name to know on the rise among arms in Kansas football. Cornell is one of the up and coming names to know in Kansas football and a rising sophomore talent at QB for Olathe East.

Edwards is a junior arm to know and a QB that is making a name for himself and had a top 10 vertical among QBs with a mark of 30.1 inches. The rising junior talent from Santa Fe Trail also had a 100 inch broad jump. A young up and coming dual threat QB prospect coming up at Santa Fe Trail, has very good speed as a QB that can beat you with his feet, fast to make a read on a defense and then get up the field for a big time run, a very hard QB to defend against, makes good choices with the football in his hands, good arm and an impressive ability to buy time and use his feet to make a big run or allow his WRs to get open. Edwards had 1,134 passing yards ,13 passing TD’s, and 7 rushing TD’s. Also a standout student, Edwards reports a 4.0 GPA.

A QB that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Showcase in St. Joseph and one of the arms in the Nebraska class of 2025 to watch for this upcoming 2023 season. One of the up and coming QBs that could be a good one for Millard West, no doubt a program that is known to have some great offensive players, no doubt Johnson will be a game that will look to get better and better and is a guy that with reps and time could emerge as a play maker to take notice of at Millard West.

Kiser is a very impressive looking QB from Augusta that has a bigger frame at 6-4, 215 pounds, one of those very impressive looking athletes that reports a 4.57 pro agility time, and is a very impressive framed and size QB prospect to know. A very impressive looking QB that is a high radar maker for a big arm and a big frame for the next level. As a sophomore he had over 1000 yards passing and 600 + rushing yards and 21 Touchdowns. Kiser had 500+ rushing yards, 600+ passing yards and 13+ TD’s and was injured for 3 games this past season but will be looking for a huge senior season for the Orioles offense in 2023.

One of the players we saw last year at the 6Star Football Showcase, this QB in the sophomore class this year will be looking to make a big impact and is a very fine athlete that can see the field and then deliver some impressive passes right on the money, with more and more experience under center we look for Matthews to become a name to know and a big junior season could really place Matthews on the big QB prospects names to know this year. Has been a big time play maker on both sides of the football for Nebraska Elite 7v7.

Morgan was a standout athlete that had a top 10 mark in the broad jump with a 105 inch mark, a good looking riser at the 6Star Football Showcase in St. Joseph. One of the QBs in the sophomore class to watch for coming up at Eisenhower High School, a good frame at 6-2, 180 and a solid arm and will look to be a name to know and be one of those big arms in Kansas football in the coming season. Morgan is a player that can use his speed as an offensive impact maker. Also a standout student, Morgan reports a 4.25 GPA.

Ross is an up and coming rising QB talent from Davenport West High School in Iowa and a player that will be looking to show off a good arm in the coming years for West. Ross has a very fluid arm and can be a very smooth thrower on his deep passes, a player that will be looking to be one of the offensive impact makers of the future in the sophomore class at West. Tyrale was one of the QBs that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Showcase in St. Joseph and is a rising talent on the radar in Iowa football.

A very impressive looking sophomore QB prospect, Tabon is an impressive looking athlete and a player that had the fifth best broad jump with a 106 inch mark, one of the top looking risers out there and player that is among the sophomore risers to know. A lean and fast running back and QB through the holes, Tabon is just a sophomore from Mustang High School in Oklahoma and a player that can use some impressive spin moves to shake guys off and make those impressive runs happen, good footwork, and some length at RB at 6-1 for his height also. Could be a future impact maker to know out of the Mustang backfield.

A very impressive looking athlete and QB out there that had a nice showing and raised his profile at the 6Star Football Showcase in St. Joseph. Tuley tied for third best broad jump with a mark of 107 inches. Some impressive speed from this junior QB and thrower at Shawnee Heights, Tuley can use that speed on the football field to his advantage as well. Tuley also shows some very good mobility in the pocket and can be one of those very talented throwers on the run and a very impressive QB that can make those big passes happen under pressure. Also a standout student, Tyley reports a 3.7 GPA.
