One of those players that just goes out and make the big time plays down after down for Plattsmouth, Baumgart is coming off one huge junior season in 2020 with 110 total tackles, 5 sacks, 8 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 touchdown. We can’t imagine a more feared and hard hitting tackler that Baumgart, this guy levels guys right to the ground, a player that is powerful with each tackle, one of those guys that reads and reacts quickly and hits like he was shot out of a cannon, this guy is one impressive hard hitting tackling linebacker machine to know. Hot in the ‘22 LB class for the next level. Received Omaha World Herald All-Omaha and All-Nebraska Award. He was also an all district honorable mention this year.

Cabrera will look to use his 6-1, 185 pounnd frame to be a key middle man and enforcer again for Murray High School in Iowa, no doubt a backer that has the frame and the ruggedness to be a force and one of the veterans that Murray will look to for a big final season to have a big 2021 season ahead. No doubt a play maker and a fine tackler to take some notice of in South Central Iowa.

Davies is coming off another monter season with 119 total tackles and four for losses in 2020, 24 solo, 95 assisted as well as one fumble recovery Aidan has started every varsity game as a sophomore and junior and is extensive list of honors includes being named All-District, All-Conference, NENextt – 2020 Pre-Season All State list, Huskerland Preps – Ranked #9 Pre-Season, and Central Nebraska 2020 Top Athletes to Watch list. Davis is one of the most talented play makers in the state, a guy that is getting a lot of colleges knocking at his door, Sioux Falls, Wayne State, and Moorehead State are among early colleges that are hot on the recruiting trails for this impressive 22’ backer out of Suttton. Big time backer speed and some nice toughness and speed that allows him to play both OLB/MLB. Add in being an excellent student with a 3.7 GPA, being named a First Team All-State LB and a 2019 C-2 State Runner-Ups finish for Sutton, you have one heck of a LB prospect for the next level.

Fiori impressed at the Six Star Football Showcase with a 111-inch broad jump and 31 inch vertical. He has drawn early interest from Winona State and Minnesota State are there for this impressive ‘22 backer from Dallas Center Grimes High School in Iowa. Austin is a player that is the tallest backer at the Omaha Showcase and at 6-4 really uses his long and impressive strides to make some huge plays on the football, no doubt his length makes him one of the elite cover the middle men in Iowa. A big time physical player that loves to be an all out play maker in the open field.
464 — Gabe Frerichs

Schools like Bemidji State, Sioux Falls, and Augustana are among a long and impressive early list of colleges that love this backer next level potential and next level transition level talent. At 6-0, 210 pounds, this Sioux Falls Washington High play maker is a guy that is a huge competitor and a backer that can also be one of the most punishing runners as a Fullback, as well as be a major asset as a long snapper for Washington. Frerichs is a guy that no doubt runs over everything in his way, you have to love his run you over type brute power.

Fullback, Guard, Linebacker, any place on the field that needs some very physical play and a guy that can move people and make room, you need Nick Garnett of Omaha Burke. Already getting some next level looks and interest, Sioux Falls is one of the programs that has shown early interest in the Burke ‘22 class LB’s game. Is one of the smartest players on the football field at any time and add that to his all out aggressive style of play and you have a player that can make a lot of impressive plays happen on both sides of the pigskin.

Inside or outside, equally effective monster play making backer and star from Lincoln Northeast, Dylan Gray is a player that can make some huge stops and at 215 pounds can flat out lay the wood on some guys. Gray ended the season with 90 tackles, made all city, made all state honorable mention, and all conference. His impressive junior seaon has geared him up for the next level and colleges are no doubt excited to see Gray on the field. Among schools that are looking hard at Gray are Central Missouri, Moorehad State, Minnesota Stae, Chadron State and many more. Gray could have been the most talented defender at the Omaha Showcase, no doubt a guy that showed he was the real deal and a no nonsense type of athlete.
491 — Jesse Herndon

This All-State Honorable Mention LB is getting a lot of attention from many colleges including Augustana, no doubt at 6-1, 220 Herndon can knock you into next week with his powerful all out style of hitting in the middle of the Sutton defensive unit. 93 tackles and 55 solo for the 2020 year, no doubt that guy flat out is where the ball is on defense, every time you turn your head Herndon has made another outstanding tackle on the ball. Also a 7.4 yards per carry damaging big runner out of the backfield that has speed and size, don’t get in his way, his combination is one big time impressive asset to his complete package game.

A player we think is a top 20 player in the state of South Dakota and no doubt one of the top 2-3 play making LB/DB type players that you will find in South Dakota. Joseph is one of those guys that can really use his 200 pound frame to be one impressive spy type play making outside backer, a hard hitter and a very aggressive against the run backer that loves the chase, a guy that can get you from behind and make up ground in an instant. Joseph is a player that is a big time nose for the ball type backer, where the ball is he will be, no doubt this guy can ball and is one of those fearsome competitors that some college will get super luck to sign.

Kemp is one of the biggest and most powerful linebackers in the state and the biggest LB at the Omaha Showcase tipping the scales at 250 pounds. Kemp is a big man for sure and a linebacker for Omaha Central that can deliver some big time hits and has been a relentless weight room warrior this past offseason, a guy really looking to make a big time name for himself as a junior in the 2021 season, Kemp is a big timer looking backer at Central.

Kirkwood was one of the event standouts on Sunday drawing attention from several college coaches at the event. He will be one of the senior go to leaders for Creighton Prep in 2021, a big man at 6-3 with a long and lean 195 pound from from his middle linebacker spot, but a rare 6-3 backer that has next level length that is impressive for sure. Kirkwood is a strong student who reports a 3.99 GPA in the classroom as well making him a very attractive next level prospect for sure. Also has a 33 inch vertical, 119 broad jump as well as a 260 bench and a 365 pound squat.

McClatchey is a playing that is striking it hot on the recruiting boards, Max is getting big time attention from schools like Augustana and Sioux Falls, no doubt this 6-1, 190 well sized play making backer is a guy that checks a lot of those crucial next level boxes for being an elite LB prospect. Max is a player that won’t budge an inch or give up any ground, you have to love his, I’ll run you over type mentality be brings to the backer spot for Lincoln SE. A player that is very tough and can take on multiple blockers and still be right in the middle of a stop for a huge play. Could be the toughest play making linebacker in Nebraska right now.

Moore is one of the more talented linebackers that showed out at the Omaha Showcase, Jay is a senior that relies of speed from his outside backer spot and is a downhill play making tackler that can really motor to make some big time stops for WDM. A very tenacious and explosive speed guy that is a track you down before you can make a move on him kind of play maker. Relentless, speedy, big motor and a guy that can be a nightmare off the edge to deal with.

Roberts is a big time athlete and a middle man that really can take over a game, we like his ability to use both power and speed to make it tough on offenses to have any big plays. He is coming off a 51 tackle season in his six games and had 26 solo stops along with nine tackles for losses, three sacks, and three forced fumbles. Roberts is an outside backer that impressed in 2019 with a big time 67 tackles, and was a major factor of defensive pressure for Belleuve West adding 6 sacks along with being a big time hitter that had 3 forced fumbles. Has a vertical of 30.5, a very powerful upper body that can bench 285, and has a squat-of 405 with a Deadlift at 485. has college looks from Wayne State, Grand View, Augustana, and Middleburry.

Sizer comes comes the Omaha Showcase from Lincolkn North Star, a good looking powerful hitting backer in the senior to be class of 2022, Sizer really has a great motor and a knack for always bring around the football. A guy that goes all out and a huge motor play maker with a power to make runners feel the pain, a player that can track you down and make the big hits, one of those players that can make big time reads on the ball as well.

A lot of big time interest from colleges, Werner has schools like Augustana, Sioux Falls, hot on his trail to seek his talents for the next level, no doubt a good longer 6-2 inch frame at backer for Skutt Catholic helps his recruiting process and makes him a nice longer prospect. Werner is a player that can bench 250 pounds and has played a huge part of Skutt claiming a pair of state championships during his three seasons there.

A player getting a lot of well deserved attention and looks from colleges, his impressive early list includes schools like South Dakota State, Drake, Wayne State, and Augustana. Wise is a guy that loves that old fashioned slam you to the ground style of tackling, a guy that makes it hurt, physical and a guy that can bring the pain, Wise is a guy that is one of the main enforcers for the Kearney defense and a big timer for the next level. Offensively Wise is a player that is a RB and a very physical down hill runner that just try’s to get downhill as fast as he can, break tackles and is pretty good in the receiving game as well.
