Mason Baker, 5’10, 155, S, 2025, Navarre @_Mason_Baker
Baker is a player to watch out for coming up, one of the young faces among safety prospects that was impressive, this class of ‘25 Navarre play maker is a guy that can use both speed and power, a player that has really worked hard in the weight room to bulk up and get stronger on defense. Good looking athlete and a player on the rise to watch for in the coming season at Navarre.
Dalton Brown, 5’11, 155, S, 2025, Sneads @_daltt
One of elite looking athletes at the 6Star Football Showcase in Orlando, Brown showed out with the second fastest time in the 40 yard dash among safeties (4.65) and also had the second best time in the pro agility of 4.33. Brown ranked third among all safeties at the Orlando event with a distance of 9’6 in the broad jump. Its not surprising to see Brown show out in the speed categories at the 6Star Football Showcase as he is a key track athlete for Sneads as well. Shows a lot of coverage skills with his speed and abilities to drift into the right places to make good plays on the football while its in the air.
Dominic Daoust, 6’0, 170, S,2024, Lyman @DominicDaoust1
A very good looking play maker and athlete from Lyman High School, Daoust ranked fifth best for pro agility time among safeties at the 6Star Football Showcase in Orlando with a time of 4.48. One of the players from the Orlando area that has a big junior season in his sights, Daoust is a player that has the speed to be a very impressive play maker and talent in the secondary unit. Daoust has some big time closing speed and is a hard hitter and a very aggressive play maker and tackler on the football field.
Josiah Fagan, 6’1, 165, S, 2023, Tru Prep @Hotsaucesiah
A very impressive lean and tall 6-1 play maker and safety from Tru Prep, Fagan clocked the fastest time among safeties in the pro agility of 4.31 at the 6Star Football Showcase in Orlando. Fagan has both size at 6-1 and speed which should really help his chances of being a recruit for the college game. Fagan also can play either safety of corner for Tru Prep Academy, and is a player that is very good against the run and can use his speed to come up and be a closer with good speed. Also has been a special teams play maker and valuable asset to the team in that area.
Ethan Larson, 5’10, 145, S,2025, Bloomingdale @1EthanLarson
Larson is a 5-10, 145 safety from Bloomingdale, the sophomore to be for 2022 is an athlete that can come up and deliver a big hit, plays hard and is one of those aggressive play makers to watch out for in the defensive backfield. Larson is a very hard hitter and a player that always finds himself around the football ready to force or make a big play on the football.
Xavier Lucas, 6’2, 180, S, 2024, Deerfield Beach @XavierL_25
One of the elite performers at the 6Star Football Showcase, Lucas no doubt showed why he should be considered a major prospect for the next level in the 2024 class. This Deerfield Beach safety had the fastest time among all safeties at the 6Star Football Showcase in Orlando with a time of 4.56. Lucas also had the top broad jump among all safeties with a distance of 10’6. Xavier ranked third among all safeties with his pro agility time of 4.35. One of those guys that can pick off a pass and take it to the house with his big time speed on the field.
Aiden Norcius, 5’11, 170, S, 2023, Dillard @AidanNorcius3
A very athletic player and impressive senior to know from the Dillard program, Norcius had the second best mark in the broad jump among all safeties at the 6Star Football Showcase in Orlando with a mark of 9’7 and was the fourth fastest safety in the pro agility with a time of 4.35. Also can play WR and is an impressive route runner that is a very aggressive player on both sides of the football. Also had some of the best hands at the event and is one of the guys that really can be a big time athlete in the ‘23 to watch for this year.
Julian Ortiz, 5’8, 165, S, 2024, Miami Springs @Chosen1Ju
Ortiz, a 5-8, 165 play making safety from Miami Springs, is a player that relies one some very impressive speed on the football field to make big plays happen. Ortiz was a big time player with 82 tackles this past season and had a big time 10 tackles for losses, and twelve passes defensed as one of the top defenders and leaders for the Miami Springs defensive unit. A very aggressive play maker and hard nosed tackler, Ortiz has both speed and power and is a very impressive looking safety to watch for in the 2024 class.
Caleb Puzie, 133, S, 2025, Bayside @CPuzie
A good looking speed play maker from Bayside High School, Puzie is one of the younger looking ball hawks to watch out for coming up for Bayside. A player that makes smart plays and is one of those guys that can cover a lot of ground with his good footwork and speed. A player that with three big years left will have a good chance to get himself on the radar with big play, look for him to be a guy in on a lot of defensive action this year coming up.
Jalani Reams, 5’11, 157, S, 2023, Windermere @jalani_reams
A impressive looking athlete and senior from Windermere, Reams recorded the fourth best distance among all safeties in the broad jump with a mark of 9’3. A player that is a very good athlete and a hard worker in the weight room also, Reams will look to be a senior that will jump onto some college radars and is a player that has the athletic skills to do just that with a big 2022 senior season ahead. An Orlando safety name to know in the 2023 class and have on the next level radar.
Alex Reynolds, 5’10, 145, S, 2024, Bayside @TheAlexReynolds
Reynolds is a very good speed play maker at safety for Bayside High School, a lean and athletic player, he has a big junior season ahead and is one of those guys that was impressive with his footwork and speed at the 6Star Football Showcase, a player that will be looking to have a big year on defense and one of the athletes that has a good football lean and athletic frame to be a name to know in the coming seasons ahead. Is a player that is good against the run also, closing speed and an aggressive open field tackler that will look to be a key outside edge speed stopper against the run in 2022.
