Meet one of the more dominant lineman in Oklahoma…Class of 19’ Westmoore prospect Jase Sparks. The 2 year starter and 2-way starter as a senior caused 2 caused fumbles on defense along with the fumble recovery on both, registered 16 tackles, and many pancakes on the O-Line. Is a very self disciplined, being able to be coached, being a team player. Sparks is a player that is willing to give up everything for the team, his coaches, his brothers and will do anything his coaches ask of him, like this year they told he had to play both sides so Sparks had to take the coaching so his teammates could depend on his on the O-Line, Jase is strong, fast on his feet, agile with quick movements that will hustle everywhere on the field.
Six star football – most influential person
Jase – is someone that has helped me a ton, he has helped me become a better football player but even a better man, David Boles, a Defensive Line coach from Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Six star football – what colleges are looking at you and what camps did you attend
Jase – I actually have visited a few places McPherson, Sterling College, Emporia State, Pitt State and have a upcoming visit at UCO. I went to many team camps along with a couple of individual camps. I have worked on a lot of Offensive Line drills this off-season, this was the first year since junior high to play Offensive Line so this season was a big turn around when I had been a starting Noseguard but this year I had to go both ways, it really helped to expand my game but I have just been working out, getting stronger, and doing O-Line drills to hopefully get recruited for both O-Line and D-Line.
Six star football – Pregame ritual
Jase – was to always listen to “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and to find a quite place and sit and pray.
Six star football – favorite song is
Jase – “ Your gonna go far, Kid” by The Offspring
Six star football – Favorite class
Jase – is definitely History
Six star football – best game
Jase – was my senior year vs Yukon, I finished the game with a fumble recovery, 4 solo tackles, 2 TFL and then also 5 assist on tackles, and then 4 pancakes on the O-Line and we came out with the Win on Homecoming night.
Six star football – biggest weight room accomplishment
Jase – is probably deadlifting 550 3x in the summer.
Six star football – teammate could be star at next level
Jase – Somebody I believe could be big at the next level is Layne Grantham, our starting center and we rotated in and out at NG on D. He someone that can change an atmosphere of a team and take charge.
Six star football – Hardest Working teammate
Jase – was Grant Polson from my days in Tuttle. Man, he was built like an Ox and as strong as one too, but had the speed of a tiger. Someone that always put in the work and did whatever the coaches asked.
Six star football – A player to keep an eye on
Jase – s is Jace Borpheaun, a tremendous Football player with a cannon for an arm and is quick on the fly, but an even better Baseball player that has a chance to go far at a very young age.
