@BrewingtonRidgeStyle of play
Ridge – I’d describe my style of play as VERY physical, aggressive and explosive. I try to overwhelm my opponent utilizing violence of action in order to dominate each play and do my job.
Most influential
Ridge -I believe either one, and really both, of my parents are the most influential to me. They always have my best interest at heart, even when they are holding me accountable and not allowing me to take short cuts in school, athletics or life in general.
Most influential coach
Ridge -It’s difficult to narrow down a coach that has had the most influence in my life. I’ve had great coaches over the years from youth football, to my current varsity coaches and also some of the best college coaches on the field right now. Each of them has taught me something new and allowed me to develop into the player I am today.
Athletic family member
Ridge -My father is the greatest athlete in my family so far. When he was in school he played soccer and football at a highly competitive level and was recruited by several colleges to play at the next level. He has been able to help coach many of my youth teams as I’ve grown up, and continues to help me develop to this day.
Offseason goals
Ridge -My goals this off season are to get bigger, stronger, and faster as player and, most of all, to develop my leadership skills.
Most memorable game
Ridge -My most memorable game experience was the first Varsity game I was able to start as a freshman. Long before that I had set a goal for myself and was determined to put in whatever work it took to earn that spot. After years of hard work and sacrifice the night finally came that my Coaches believed in me and let me play on that stage under the lights, and it’s a moment with my team that I will never forget.
College interests
Ridge – I have had schools from each level, D1 to NAIA, reach out to me so far. Some are showing more interest than others, but it’s still early in the process, and I look forward to continuing to put in the work to show what I am able to contribute to their programs.
Pre Game Ritual
Ridge -When I’m preparing for a game I like to isolate myself in a way, listening to the music that focuses my mind on the task at hand, until about five minutes before it’s time to go out on the field. At that point I like to get up and work to get my teammates pumped and excited to go out and try and dominate our competition.
My favorite song
Ridge – is Click Click Boom by Saliva
my favorite class
Ridge – is Sociology
My favorite NFL player now
Ridge – is JJ Watt
my favorite NFL player as a kid
Ridge – was Charles Tapper.
My biggest accomplishment in the weight room
Ridge – so far was making the 600 lb club in 7th grade, and setting some school lifting records in the 8th grade. I continue to make improvements each year, but I’m really proud of those because I was young and it wasn’t expected of me to reach those goals.
Teammate could be college star
Ridge -I believe that my teammate, Braeden Winter
s, has the potential to be a big star at the next level. He’s one of our linebackers and he sets the tone on and off the field with both his work ethic and the example he sets for others. He plays hard and strong, he has a nose for the ball, and he’s one the hardest working teammates we have.
Teammate to keep an eye on
Ridge -Colton Green, one of our linemen, would be a player to keep an eye on. He’s versatile, a hard charger and he can play both sides of the ball. He’s putting in the work to get better and has the potential to create an impact as well in propelling our team towards success.
