Meet one of the more dominant and young DB’s in the Tulsa area, 2020 up and comer Sloan Roller of Verdigris.
He is a big time physical play maker that seldom misses making tackles, and go full speed all the time.
Six Star Football – The most influential person
Sloan – is my dad, who wrestled at Nebraska and Oklahoma in college.
Six star football – What camps have you attended and what did you improve upon during the offseason
Sloan – I have not attended any camps yet. In the off season I was mainly focused on getting my right knee good, as I tore my ACL in November of 2017. So pretty much the whole offseason heading into this year was all about making sure my knee was good and ready to go.
Six star football – Pre Game ritual
Sloan – My pre game ritual is to drink a pedialyte, put in my headphones and listen to some rap music.
Six star football – best game
Sloan – My best game was against Inola , where I had 20 tackles and 1 sack in a OT win.
Six star football – Biggest weight room accomplishment
Sloan – is when I powercleaned 225lbs my sophomore year.
Six star football – teammate that could be a big star at the next level
Sloan – is Austin Woods. He’s a 6’6 , 280 lb LT, with long arms and good feet.
Six star football – Hardest working teammate
Sloan – is Hayden Jones, who is a sophomore WR/FS.
Six Star football – A player to keep an eye on
Sloan – is my QB, Brant Hager. I believe he’s about 6’2-6’3, with one of the strongest arms I’ve seen. Also, can move around in the pocket well. He’s a junior, like me and Austin Woods as well.
