One of those amazing athletes that can do it all for his team…Meet sophomore DB and future start Tristan Profit of Owasso. He plays with patience, speed, and physicality. He does a great job of letting plays develop and then has some great reactions to them. Had 43 tackles, 2 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery on the ’18 season as a Rams Safety.
Has great speed (4.56) in the 40 yard dash, has been to some big camps (Adizero Combine Rivals in Dallas & TCU Camps) and has all the techniques and skills to be one of the next dominant DB’s in the Tulsa area & Oklahoma overall.
Expect some great things from Profit in the next couple of seasons for Ram football and one of the tougher defensive units in the Tulsa area.
Six Star — Most Influential Person
Tristan—My dad is the most influential person in my life giving me standards to live up to while being a great role model and helping me as much as he can in the process
Six Star — What camps did you attend and what did you take away from those
Tristan—I went to the Adizero Combine Rivals Camp in Dallas during the summer of my sophomore year and ran a 4.56 40 yard dash. The rest of my stats were pretty average but I learned to come prepared and to have good technique in the drills. My play recognition improved tremendously and I also learned how to play physical without taking myself out of a play.
Six Star — What colleges have shown interest in you
Tristan—I haven’t had any colleges contact me just yet but I am looking forward into what happens during the Spring.
Six Star — Pre Game Ritual
Tristan—My pre game ritual insists of me getting a feel for the field I am playing on that night and making sure me and my teammates have everything clear on the plays we will be running that night.
