CARTHAGE, Mo. — Six Star Football held its first ever Camp & Combine on Sunday in Carthage, Mo., drawing more than 300 athletes from Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas.
Here, we take a look at several quarterbacks who raised their profile at the event.
136 — Nick Albright, 6’0, 160, WR/S, 2020, Purcell @nick_t20
40 — 4.85 … Broad 7’11 … Short Shuttle 4.53 … Power Ball 33’4
One of the more talented kids Albright has a good future for Purcell. On a talented core of offensive weapons at Purcell Albright is another skill position player that will look to help Purcell in their passing game this season. Will look for a breakout senior season and has alot of good skills
39 — Kobey Baker, 5’9, 165, WR/SS, 2021, Tahlequah @BakerKobey
40 — 4.69 … Broad 9’5.5 … Short Shuttle 4.43 … Power Ball 37’10
Baker was one of the most impressive athletes at the 6 star combine this year and we look for him to be one of the stars and up and coming rising prospects among the best in Eastern Oklahoma. No doubt one of the most impressive players at the camp this season, Baker recorded the top broad jump of all Oklahoma receivers (9’5.5) and was second among all receivers from Oklahoma in the power ball with a 37’10. Ran a very solid 4.69 in the 40 yard dash and a 4.43 shuttle run. Good hands and skills, obviosuly athletic and skilled Baker is one of the most talented players that recruiters will need to take note of this upcoming season.
140 — Devon Beck, 6’1, 185, WR, 2021, Bartlesville @devonbeck17
40 — 5.09 … Broad 7’10 … Short Shuttle 4.66 … Power Ball 33’0
Beck was one of the many gifted athletes to attend our camp and represent Bartlesville and the up and coming Bruins squad. Beck is one of our class of 21 receivers that will look to be a difference maker and is a hard working player. At 6-1, 185 he also can use his size well this upcoming season.
40 — Tyler Becker, 5’11, 165, WR/DB, 2020, Luther @Tylerbecker_15
40 — 4.80 … Broad 8’3… Short Shuttle 4.43 … Power Ball 33’10
Becker will team up with fellow six star combine attendee and teammate Peyton Wilson to form one of the more formidable offensive passing weapons in Oklahoma. An athletic wideout, Becker has the skills and talent to get open and is one of the better route runners you will find. Tough competitor who knows how to help his team win and will be part of a good passing attack at Luther this season.
43 — Steven Brown
, 5’10, 145, WR, 2020, Stillwater @stevenb15279576
40 — 4.56 … Broad 9’0 … Short Shuttle 4.37 … Power Ball 29’9
When you watch Brown on film you can catch yourself saying wow…He has some great looking highlights and catches. Three of his events at 6Star Combine proved just that with his 40 time of 4.56 third best among Oklahoma receivers. His short shuttle run tied for fourth best among Oklahoma receivers with a 4.37 and his broad jump of 9’0 tied him for fifth best among OK WRs. Brown is a special young talent on a team that will look to alot of junior and senior talent this season. He is one of the special ones for sure.
256 — Tanner Christian, 6’4, 175, WR, 2021, Tahlequah @tannerchristi12
40 — 4.84 … Broad 7’5… Short Shuttle 4.88 … Power Ball 30’6
Among the 21 receivers that will be looking to give his QB and offense a threat in the passing game, Christian was among the tallest receivers at our camp at a stout 6-4 and this size should make him one of the more intriguing prospects when colleges start looking for what really separates recruits. We expect some good things from this big and rangy receiver.
146 — Shea Dan
, 6’4, 165, WR, 2021, Union @TheSheaDan
40 — 4.65 … Broad 8’8.5 … Short Shuttle 4.31 … Power Ball 30’4
D-1 talent already as a sophomore no question the lanky big man at 6-4 is a speedy and very gifted pure athletic that impressed with his great hands, speed and ability to make tough catches. Walking away from the camp you see that Dan is one of those players that is a cut above the rest. Dan brings the full package to what a receiver at the next level should have and he is only a sophomore. Dan will no doubt be a big time Union superstart before his career is over. Look for their passing offense to be a huge weapon and for Shea to be a huge part of that success. We like him to be one of the top recruits in this 21 class.
48 — Tyson Dewberry, 5’9, 150, WR/DB, 2022, Ponca City @Dewberrytyson
40 — 5.16 … Broad 8’0 … Short Shuttle 4.71 … Power Ball 30’0
A skill position player of the future for Ponca City, Dewberry has all the tools to be a good one for sure and his teammates in the same class are eager to prove themselves in what could be a exciting season ahead. Tyson we look to have a productive sophomore campaign. The two way standout has the ability to be one of the top play makers for his team and is a player that has a lot of true potential.
151 — Khaden Easterwood, 6’0, 170, WR/DB, 2020, Southmoore @Khaden_east
40 — 4.72 … Broad 9’0.5 … Short Shuttle 4.30 … Power Ball 37’1
One of the most overall impressive athletes we feel at the camp, Easterwood is a quite impressive talent and will be we find one of the better all-around athletes at our camp, Easterwood is a future superstar for sure. Had two of the best overall results for our camp among receivers with a 37’1 powerball and a 9’05.3 broad jump both third best among all OK receivers. Easterwood is a physically talented players in Oklahoma and one that has all the tools to be a great one at the next level as well.
