STOCK RISERS | Missouri’s December showcase attendees making waves this offseason (2024) — Six Star Football takes a look at several prospects of Missouri’s top QB prospects in the rising senior class to watch this offseason.
☑️SHOWCASE EVENTS Six Star Football will be hosting the Oklahoma Showcase on April 2 in Broken Arrow, and the Nebraska Showcase on April 16 in Omaha, offering prospects an opportunity to be seen by coaches and Six Star scouts, compete against elite prospects and earn an invite to TheFINALS All-America Showcase.
Jayden Barnett

A player that is one of the most impressive looking QBs we saw this offseason and Winter, Barnett earned a FINALS invite and is one of the St. Louis player coming up to have on the QB radar. The Ritenour senior is a player that can get the ball out there quickly and has a strong and accurate arm, Barnett is a lefty and a slinger that can fling the ball out there and be a accurate radar maker to watch out for.
Nicholas Bittner

Bittner is a good QB under pressure, one of those guys that can find a way to make a throw under pressure, a player that can buy some time in the pocket as a shotgun quarterback and one of the seniors looking to make an impact in 2023 for the St. Dominc offense. Bittner has a good arm and is a player on the senior to be radar that will be looking for a big year coming up.
Hobbs Gooch
, 6-4, 188, QB, 2024, Joplin @HobbsGooch
One of the most impressive looking arms and quarterbacks at the Winter Showcases, Gooch is a SW Missouri name on the radar and has good next level size also at 6-4, 188 pounds. Gooch earned an invite to the FINALS and reports a 31.6 inch vertical, 107 broad jump and a 4.9 time in the 40 yard dash. Also a fine student Gooch reports a 3.7 GPA. Gooch has had some very big games this season and had 303 total passing yards and went 17 for 26 completions and had four touchdowns.
Quinn Northrup
, 6-1, 185, QB, 2024, Springfield Catholic @QuinnNorthrup
A hot senior QB prospect for 2023, Northrup has a very strong arm and is one of the guys that loves to throw the deep ball, one of those guys that can sling the ball deep down the field and is a very accurate QB on the radar, and does have some mobility when pressured to run the football when he needs to. Class of 2024 Springfield Catholic High School standout that also earned a FINALS invite this winter from the 6Star Football Showcase and is a 6’1, 190lbs QB that also is a good student and reports a 3.9 GPA.
Russell Roweton
, 6-3, 190, QB, 2024, Willard@Rroweton
Roweton is capable of being one of the hottest QBs on the radar to know coming out of Southwest Missouri, he had some big games this season and went 24 for 31 with 431 yards and four touchdowns. Roweton also has a bigger frame and good size also at 6-3, 185, one of those arms that is a rising standout on the radar and has a very powerful and strong arm. Roweton has one of the strongest arms in the state and has really thrown some huge bombs this past season. A name to know on the SW Missouri radar to watch for.
Jake Ryan

Junior season highlights for the standout at Tolton, who helped the team go 7-3, was a part of several big plays and had 28 total touchdowns, of those 26 were passing, and Ryan was a big thrower that really had a nice season and went over 2000 passing yards, and a impressive looking accuracy mark at 67 percent completion mark. Ryan was named a First Team All-Conference selection and a Second Team All-District selection.
Wyatt Woods

A very impressive looking arm from Southwest Missouri, one of those athletes on the radar looking to have a big senior season for the Tigers of Republic, Woods is 5-11, 175 and also plays safety on the defensive side of the football. Woods has a very strong arm and is one of the top strong roll out throwers on the radar, Woods is one of those guys that can buy some time and make the big throws happen under pressure. A dual threat mobile QB that has good footwork and can make some big plays with his legs and speed.
