WR and fast player in the open field, if you let Coppage get some room against you in the open field he can really cause some major damage and be a guy that is capable of being a guy that can make some big yards after the catch happen. Coppage had 418 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore and will be one of those guys that could chase or be near 1000 yards as a junior next year with his speed. One of the more impressive looking athletes that shined at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase and a player on the rise in the 2025 class among Kansas up and coming WRs to know.

Duncan is a player that keeps raising his profile and had a laser timed 40 yard dash time of 4.91, one of those players on the rise in the 2025 class. A player that is one of the up and coming sophomores on the Olathe East team a WR that will be looking to be one of the good hands WRs of the future to know and a player that has some good hands in the open field. Olathe East will be looking for several key younger players for the future and one of those targets could well be Duncan. A player that impressed and is one of the up and coming names to know from Olathe East that could bring key speed to the lineup in 2023.

A very impressive looking play maker in the open field and a good hands WR that has made some nice catches and difficult plays, one of the receivers that has the speed and the hands to pose a lot of open field mismatches and problems in the open field, a very impressive looking threat that can get open and make the big catches. A name to know in that class that should be a good one. Gardner was one of the Nebraska talents that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase and is one of the guys in Nebraska football to watch for in 2023.

One of the players that raised his stock at the 6Star Football Showcase, a big target and a very athletic up and coming junior on the rise to take some major notice of at Maize South. At 6-4, 180 Maize South’s Landen Gatto has the size and the talent to be one of the names to know in the coming years at Maize South and is a sophomore that is a riser on the radar, a lean and athletic play maker that has better than average size and is a player in the open field that is tough to handle and can go up and over smaller DBs to make some very impressive plays for the receiving core. Gatto had 45 catches 488 yards and two TDs for 2022 and is a player that will be looking for a huge junior season for Maize South in 2023.

A very fast play maker and one of those guys that can burn a defense after the catch, very fast footwork and a very dangerous player in the open field, Hayes is one of the up and coming Wichita area stars in this offense and is looking like a very hot target down the field that gets off the line quick and can accelerate past the DB to get open for those big plays down the field. In six games played Hayes had 12 receptions for 430 yards and had a 35.8 Average with 7 TDs. One of the players that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase in St. Joseph and is a top speed threat for Maize, a name you will be hearing a lot about in Kansas football in 2023.

Taking a look at speed play makers to know in the KC area as risers, one of those players that affect the game in many aspects is this talented two way play maker and return specialist from Blue Valley Southwest. Huffman is a player that has the makings of being more of a key WR and return man that can be a key field position athlete with his impressive speed and ability to be a speed threat in the open field and a player that is hard to tackle and handle in space. A very talented player that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase in St. Joseph. Also a standout student, Huffman reports a 4.2 GPA.

A player that is one of those players that really was a standout performer and wideout at the 6Star Football Showcase, McGreer ran a laser timed 40 yard dash of 4.87 and was a good hands WR at the Showcase that shined. One of the most productive sophomore go to WRs in Nebraska football this season was at Malcolm. Logan McGreer had a big sophomore season and in 11 games for Malcolm recorded 692 yards receiving with eight touchdowns as one of the most effective ’25 pass catchers in Nebraska football this season. Averaged 62 yards per game and 23 yards per catch with 29 receptions and a long of 80 yards.

Standout athlete and WR that had 24 receptions for 451 yards and had a 56.4 yards per game average with 5 touchdowns in the class of 25.’ Pure speed is the name of the game and Pabst has a lot of that, Carter reports some very impressive speed and is a very hard man to cover at WR that can get open and make some huge plays for the offense. Pabst is a very athletic player and one of the young names to know in Kansas football that we look to hear more and more from as his career goes on. A player that raised his profile at the 6Star Football Midwest Showcase in St. Joseph. Also a standout student, Pabst reports a 3.7 GPA.

Dakari had a very impressive looking defensive season for Leavenworth and as a leader and impressive play making this sophomore season had impressive stats of 42 tackles, two forced fumbles, two recovered fumbles, and three pass break ups as one of those defensive standouts that could go out there and be a key play maker for Leavenworth. Played free safety and is also a speed play making WR and athlete that will be looking to make a big impact on that side of the football as well.
