▪️  SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT One of the Missouri standouts, this quick and athletic play-making QB from Lee’s Summit is a player that has good footwork and is one of those athletes that can show some big arm strength for a player his size. Layman is a QB that has shown some excellent touch on the ball and is able to mix things up both in and out of the pocket.

▪️  ANALYSIS An intelligent player who has good arm strength and an ability to find receivers in a variety of situations. He has very good touch and can hit receivers in stride and lead them to the end zone. He throws a catchable ball and can make big throws without really stepping into his throws. He has good vision and he can put the ball in a smartly placed position. He is a productive athlete and one who shows good potential in his game. Through seven games his freshman year he threw for 784 yards and had seven passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown and had a 64% completion rate.

▪️ GREATEST STRENGTHS arm strength, vision, toughness, ball placement

▪️ AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT can stare down his receivers at times, continued progression work, doesn't always step into his throws as well as he could

▪️  SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT A two-time selection to TheFINALS All-America Showcase, Lee’s Summit 2025 Bayden Layman has all the tools to be a high level high school QB. He recorded an 87 inch broad jump and 25 inch vertical in the combine portion of the Midwest Showcase — both respectable numbers for a young QB. Layman is ranked in the top 10 QB prospects in his class in the latest Six Star Football Missouri 2025 rankings.

▪️  ANALYSIS A smart and athletic QB who can see the field well and make good decisions under pressure. He has good footwork, can set his feet before throws and he knows where to put the ball so his defenders can’t get it. He continues to develop his game, sees the game much better and shows a lot of potential for Lee’s Summit moving forward. A QB who has a good feel for the position, his team’s offense and can also make things happen when the game breaks down and he needs to create.

▪️ GREATEST STRENGTHS arm strength, technique, high IQ, good touch, mobility
