▪️  SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT A talented two-way prospect for the Spartans, Francis Howell 2024 Collin Parsons was his team’s leading rusher in 2022, carrying the ball 121 times for 723 yards and six TDs on offense, and putting together a strong season at linebacker on defense as well. A strong all-around athlete, Parsons had a solid showing in the combine portion of the Kickoff23 Showcase in late December, recording a laser timed 5.1 40-yard dash, along with a 103 inch broad jump and 30.5 inch vertical.  He reports a bench of 235, squat 385 and 435 deadlift. 

▪️  ANALYSIS Parsons excels as both a runner and a linebacker and consistently outmaneuvers opposing players. On offense, he is elusive and has breakaway speed, often resulting in explosive plays. He’s also a strong blocker that’s willing to take a hit. With the ball in his hands, Parsons has good speed and can be hard to stop. His great vision allows him to quickly pick up openings in the defense, making him a great playmaker. He’s smart, with good instincts and can read the field easily.  On defense, he reads the play quickly and consistently positions himself for the tackle.A good athlete, Parsons shows good awareness on the field, using his speed and quick reactions to pursue opponents and cover a wide range of angles on defense.
