▪️  SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT A very talented junior that looked like one of the standouts at the Midwest Showcase in St. Joseph and is a guy that has high expectations for a big senior season in 2023. McPherson is a long, rangy 6-3, 178-pounds and shows and impressive looking arm out of Campus High School in Wichita. Is also a strong runner, capable of moving the chains with his legs. He rushed for 593 yards and three TDs, averaging neary 10 yards per carry and threw for five TDs. He put together a strong showing in the combine portion of the Midwest Showcase, recording a 102 inch broad jump and 28 inch vertical, both among the top marks among QB prospects.

▪️  ANALYSIS  Does a nice job of seeing the entire field and then making on-time throws down the field. He has a smooth throwing motion with repeatable mechanics. Has long running strides and can pick up a lot of ground quickly, putting pressure on opposing defenses with his ability to run. Comfortable on his roll outs and throwing the ball downfield on the run. Plays a lot in a traditional, under-center offense and shows good footwork in his drops into the pocket. McPherson has also played some WR in his career and has that extra speed that can make him a versatile offensive threat on any play.
