SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT: A sophomore RB who shows solid size and pairs it with very good athletic ability. He is a threat to score from anywhere on the field, and runs with good competitive toughness in between the tackles. His balance through contact is impressive, and it leads to a consistent ability to stay on his feet and gain positive yards. He maintains good pad level and leg drive, which also helps him gain tough yards. When he gets on the edge of the defense, not many people can catch him, and he is able to make big plays for his team. Expect Ward to be a name to pay attention to next season.

✅ANALYSIS: Solid height and weight with room to add weight to his frame. He shows very good athletic ability, due to very good speed, acceleration, and balance. He is able to fight off contact and break tackles in the open field and in between the tackles. His good play speed leads to solid play strength when you pair it with his good competitive toughness. He gives a relentless effort each play, and that allows him to score in a variety of ways. He shows good elusiveness in the open field, and will run through contact if he needs to. His mental processing to see running lanes and follow his blocks is solid as well.

✅GREATEST STRENGTHS: Athletic Ability, Play Speed, Competitive Toughness
